How to get to Rome?
It is said that all roads lead to Rome!
The Eternal City is very well connected and it is possible to arrive by plane, train or car. However, remember that if you arrive in Rome by car, mobilizing in the inner city can be quite chaotic due to the large amount of traffic. It is important that when you organizing your trip to Rome take into account that there are two airports that will allow you to go directly to the Italian capital.
ROME AIRPORT - FIUMICINO (FCO): Its name is International Airport Leonardo Da Vinci is the most important airport in Rome and is located 30 km from the city.
Leonardo Express Train: This train connects the Fiumicino Airport with the Termini Station, the train journey time is 30 minutes and is a quick option to reach the center. This service runs from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Terravision Bus: This service connects Terminal 3 of the Fiumicino Airport with the Termini Station, the journey time is about 55 minutes. This service runs from 5:35 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
FR1 regional train: This is a regional train on the Sabina-Fiumicino line (FR1) with stops at the Tiburtina, Tuscolana, Ostiense and Trastevere stations. From Ostiense / Piramide it is possible to connect with line B of the subway. This service operates from 6:00 a.m. until 11:30 p.m.
Taxi: Outside the Rome-Fiumicino Airport you can take a taxi to the center of Rome. The taxi fare has a fixed cost, ask the driver.

ROMA AIRPORT - CIAMPINO (CIA): Its name is Gian Battista Pastine Airport, it is the second most important airport of Rome and is located 15 km of the center of the city.
Terravision Bus: This bus connects the Ciampino Airport with the Termini Station in about 40 minutes. This service runs from 8:15 a.m. to 00:15 a.m. From the Termini Station the service starts at 4:30 a.m.
Regional train: This service connects the Rome-Ciampino Airport with the Termini station, however, this train departs from the city of Ciampino and in order to get there you will have to take a bus from the airport. This service runs from 5:30 a.m. to 11:20 p.m.

TERMINI STATION: It is the main train station of Rome and the busiest train station in Italy. The Termini station is very well connected, here stop the line A and B of the metro and a large number of buses. If you prefer to walk, in 30 minutes you will arrive from the station to the Trevi Fountain.
